I found this Field Light at my Menards marked down to half price. Regular price is $9.99 clearance price is $4.99. The light has 5ea. bright LED bulbs and is powered by 3 AA batteries or a 4.5 vdc power supply. I managed to secure the last 5 units from my Local Menards but other Menards stores locally still had some in stock. If interested check your local Menards first for the number of units in stock. Check other Menards in your area if your local store is sold out. They are available online but shipping to your door is pricey. Free shipping to store was not offered as far as I could tell.

We don't have Menards here in Ct. but I've converted there ambulance's from battery powered to track powered. I 'd do the same to those lights.

I bought two of these earlier this year from Menards to use on my Christmas layout. One pointed to my ice skating rink. It really makes the layout pop by using lighting such as this and allows details to be seen.

I have been using one of these as a night light. Mainly just to see how long a trio of batteries would last if left on all night. So far I have not noted any dimming of the brilliance of the LEDs.
