I'm going for the LC+ 2.0 Dockside switcher, a locomotive with all the features with a street price of just over $200 has to be seen to be believed. I'm hoping they actually are able to deliver what is promised.
I think many of us are in wait-and-see mode these days, when it comes to Lionel. The gap between the expectation levels set by the catalog vs. what's actually delivered by Lionel's overseas factories is just too large.
Truthfully, I have no concrete expectations for the Docksider, it's just so cheap that I want to get a look at the technology for LC+ 2.0. My first act after a test run will probably involve a screwdriver.
