took this in on trade, dead as a hammer when i unboxed it. has spoke wheels instead of baldwin drivers, runs well and smokes. this DOES NOT have magna-traction...

Thanks for the 2025 video Benz there good pullers for sure if you run across a 2035 its basically the magnetraction version of the 2035.
Can attest they are good runners and pullers.

Nice running Lionel 2-6-4 you have there. The 2025 is a very good engine to start with. I have several Lionel 2037 2-6-4 that need some attention. The usual lube & tune maintenance procedure needs to be performed. They are magnatraction equipped to boot. I have been looking for a decent condition Lionel 2055 4-6-4 & matching tender but I am not willing to pay the piper just yet. Local Train Show is in early March. Maybe I will find one there for a decent price.
