I finally got my hands on the Lionel US Army Rocket Launcher.
After some help from Gunrunner John and reading the manual (this time with my reading glasses) I got it running like new!

However I was not happy with Lionel’s decision to paint the US Army version blue so I decided to turn it into the Marine Corp version 45.

Here is a couple pics of it in three color camo and weathered as if its been out in the field doing the country proud!

Thanks everyone for the replies......the original Army blue did not cut it for me.....why Lionel did not call it a Navy rocket launcher is a mystery to me...

Original color.....

One thing has always bothered me about this rocket launcher:
What if the target is on the opposite side from where the missiles are pointed? Then you need a turntable to hit the target ;).

I like that a lot. Looks much better than the blue version.
