Went to the train show in White Plains NY and got some HO tracks for my HO trains and then bumped into this Lionel Coastal Limited set for a great price. Box is a little beat up but the Loco runs nicely and the cars are so clean it isn't funny. Anyone have or know anything about this set?

Got a set number?

I was looking for info and like a dummy I left it at my parents house tonight. Brought it in to show my father because me and the kids went right there after the show and I don't know where to look for info.

Ok so I bought some O track today after taking the time to research the differences. From what I understand the o27's will run on the o track but some o's will have a tough time running on the o27 track. Just going to set up a loop for right now I think.

B&M link said 93 . I have an engine from that period a Sante Fe. Can't remember the number. I will check my box for a small catalog. my set was 1997 an 8632. What's your engine number? You can find your engine diagram in the supplements at the Lionel site.

Ok so here is the dilemma at hand at the moment. I am going to set up a 4x8 board up with a minimal display.

Pretty much track only. I have O track and was thinking about getting another set. So here is the dilemma. I am torn with the NY central flyer and the Pennsylvania flyer sets. Which would you choose and would you use the fastrack or the tubular track?

Sorry the. Coastal set is still over at my dads house. I will get a number as soon as I can swing over there.

I like both lines. That is why I am torn.

Tube track can be connected to the fastrack?
