Hi Ed. I drew out various radius's on the train table using a yardstick screwed in at the 2" mark. I now see my mistake as I should have taken 2" off the radius, not one. Ooops.

As you know sections curved track can be tweaked and my connections of the 3 pieces of track may not have been exact. I tried a single curve piece and found it hard to match to an exact radius.

I am taking offers on the bunch or individual lots. Give me a good one. ;-)

The 12" radius (or so I thought so by my measurements against my template described above) is 3 rail with brown ties.......I therefore assumed it was Lionel and not Marx.

Sorry James I called you John in the above post.

One of my twins is named James.

I don't know what to offer and I don't want to insult you with a low offer.

That's why I asked what your looking to get.

Jim

OK,

Hey Jim you never commented on the picture of the train you sent me?:D

In the other thread.:D

I posted the 2 of them right under it.
The one you actually sent and this one.:D
I wanted to see your reaction.:D
There was none?

Do you believe my old dog sniffed that old train out of a junk pile?
Around here towns have a junk pickup 1 or 2 times a year.
The things people throw away!

I think the dog became accustomed to the oil or maybe smoke pellets from the old trains in the "junk" piles.

Just take him for a walk and he would sniff at the piles. Give me a grin if he thought there was a train in one.
He was better then a metal detector!

Sorry Ed. It was funny. Between helping my daughter purchase a house and me selling my train stuff I have been busy.

What are you going to do with that 2065?

I just was trying to give you something to smile about.
I was going to just let it sit without posting the other but other members thought that's what you sent me!:D

I couldn't let them think that.

One of these centuries I will try and redo it. It does want to move when I apply power. Just needs a little ( a lot) of TLC.

I just rescued it from the scrap heap. I couldn't let it be thrown away!:D

And Ed's singing,

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar :D
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
:D
Come what may
Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

Oh well I guess there's all ways another tomorrow.:D

Goodnight, till tomorrow.:D:rolleyes::confused:
