Lionel parts for new product.

How long does it take Lionel to get parts for new products on the website? Sadly my new Hudson needs a boiler front due to a cracked hinge. Lionel has promised to replace it for free when parts are available but when is that? I also would like to look at the breakdown of the engine just for ha, ha's

So when does the warrantee start....at the time your credit card is charged, or the day you actually physically have it?

So, if what you bought doesn't get to you for a year, you're out of luck warrantee-wise? Or do they not charge your card until it ships?
