I placed an online order for parts yesterday. It seemed to take payment and everything. However no email confirmation.

Did it go through? Or do I find out in wait a week or two and see if they arrive.

They haven't sent emails in years. If you go to your account you can track your order. It will go from pending, to processing, to shipped. I have seen "shipped" in as little as 3 days or over two weeks. Little obscure parts usually take longer for them to get your order together.

Thanks Pete! There it is under the "service section" in " My Lionel".

I've never had the need to go into my profile before, I forgot I even set one up, LOL!

At least that still works;)

That "confirmation email" is a constant source of confusion for persons like you and me, Rich, who almost never order parts. The website says an email will be sent and when it doesn't we are concerned.

Perhaps Dean's successor will clean up the website and eliminate this longstanding error.

Parts received as ordered today, all good. No complaints, and in this order was one of the quietest smoke fan motors I've experienced in some time.

Thankfully John didn't buy them all LOL! ;)
