Looking for someone who can service and get running
2 rail steam locos.
They have been out of service for @ a dozen years, I will
be willing to pay for someone who can help with this. 1 is
a Varney and 2 is a Labaugh.
Thank you Big Bill

Hi Bill, give this a bump.
Someone here may know of someone, but I kind of doubt it.

You do mean 2 rail live steam locomotives?
Like this? Allen Models: Live Steam Locomotives, parts and track for 7.5" gauge and 7.25" gauge
There is a number to call maybe he can direct you to someone who repairs, he does sell parts?

You have any pictures of what you have? I find those interesting maybe others here would like to see them too.
I would like to have some of those but the price and space is out of my league. :(
I might be able to buy one but would have not have the proper space to run it.

It has been bumped. :)

Varney and Lobaugh are vintage O scale models ca 1930s-1950s. New they had no electronics. and were run with a DC power pack that was used to control speed and direction. Service would consist of lubricating the drive train, maybe replacing the brushes and making sure the valve gear is in place and drivers quartered.

Chuck must have felt sorry for me. Said he would do my 2 rail.
I am so glad to find someone local who knows something about
Labaugh trains and is willing to work on them.
