I recently unboxed my dads Sears electric train set, Ontario Northland edition, maid by Cox. Im looking for whatever information i can get on the set. i have tried to find the set online. but have been unable to do so, all i do know is that it is rare and old (40+ some years). any information you can give me would be much appreciated.

i have attached some photos of the set, and i apologize for the pore quality of the photos. i took them with a smart phone

Those sets were released in 1975 with a low-nose GP-9.

They were cheap Christmas toy train sets. Little to no detail without even number boards. Yours was for the Canadian market along with Canadian National and CP Rail.

If you are wondering if it's worth anything, the short answer is no......but the sentimental value is often priceless.....
