Hello all, A quick question.
Dose anyone know if there Is a difference in the Atlas code 100 flex track made the USA, or China? Is there a difference in quality? I see different listings about the track being better made in the USA. I am about to purchase 100 sections, and I did not want to get track that will break down in a short period of time.

Thanks
John

I just checked the five boxes I have and they said "Made in USA". But, I've had them for a long time.

If you are adding switches, I would not use Atlas. I had problems with mine as did some of my buddies. I went to Walthers' switches. They are made by Shinohara. Great switch. No problems what so ever any more.

I will have to agree with Bob I use a lot of atlas track. but all of mine was before they moved their operations to China. As far as I know Atlas makes nothing in the U.S. now, but should that surprise anyone? Their turnouts develop problems with age, I now use Peco.
