the Model # is 345005 the thing is about 2 months old...It was knocked off the track and broke.. I thought I could fix it.. But I just do not have the knowledge..... here is how it looks today.... I paid 100.00 for it.... right now... If you are in Houston area... and want it... it is free.. come get it... If you want it bad enough to pay shipping. I will ship it to you... I would rather give it away then throw it away....

I also have a Genesis G9207 (union pacific FEF-2 #823)with sound that crashed to the floor as well.. the cab broke off... I have all the parts... paid 280.00 this still works.. just needs a mechanic to get it back to normal..... I will take 100.00 for it... if need pics .. let me know..

These are HO scale... I took them to the Train store... and all of a sudden people get stupid and do not want to help me or refer me to anyone who could work on them....

I understand the part about the train store...most folks in the business don't want to deal with service or repair/parts. I'm not looked upon too well in my shop because I prefer tinkering over NIB.

Cope, my favorite Ho, is cast Mantua, with patience and a parts supplier it can be fixed. It all depends if you want to put the effort in. I understand fixing is not everyones bag, but here we tend to help and inspire. You supply the pictures and we will assist. In your case it appears to be a a matter of arranging the wheels. Some special tools are required. So reconsider on the first engine. I am not sure I can helpon the second. Mantua has been discussed in detail here before.

Hey Cope,

Can you PLEASE train your engines properly so that if they DO fall they know to do it into the turtle tank to cushion the impact?!? A little dry-out is easier than a full bag-o-parts rebuild!

I've said it before, but that is an awesome, very 3-dimensional layout ... thanks for sharing!
