there is no practical way to light one of these basic marx plastic tenders. a hollow shell with 4 wheels and couplers. i added 2 AAA cells wired in series and mounted them inside the shell with foam mounting tabs. the searchlight is mounted with 2 drops of super glue. i will install a switch. total cost was a dollar and a few minutes of my time...
