BATTERY PACK HOLDER SOURCE.

Nice install there Ben. Your video did not mention a source for the battery pack holder. I found a cheap source for these at Dollar Tree. These lights shown below contains a clear plastic holder with a slider switch. Holds 2ea. AA batteries. There is a dropping resistor installed but it can be bypassed or removed all together. Of course being from Dollar Tree they were only $1. Christmas clearance takes them down to $0.50. The LEDs could be use full as well out on the layout or railcars.

WORKS FOR ME ALMOST.

That is a good price on the eBay Battery holder. About $0.72 each. Shipping is cheap for sure. PayPal only is a no-go type of payment with my wife however. What was the lag time for delivery from China? Wish maizien took other forms of payment besides PayPal. They had some other items for sale that I could use in my various Electronic projects.

delivery has been surprisingly fast and reliable. average time is a few weeks but i have gotten stuff in 10 to 12 days or so, average is two weeks but worth the wait considering the price.

Here's a nice unit ...

AliExpress will take a CC for payment (i.e. no PayPal). The individual sellers do not get the CC, AliExpress provides the payment "firewall. I've been using them for small parts orders for years; over 200 orders. My CC has never been compromised. And, of course, using a CC means your protected from fraudulent charges.

Curious, why won't your wife use PayPal?

Another good buy. But that lead time is pretty long 30-50 days. Knowing myself I would probably forget what project I bought them for by the time they arrived.
