Does anyone have, or remember, these signs? They are made out of brass and some came with lamp posts too. I bought a couple at York at the April 1999 Meet. I don't think I've seen them since. They are great for placing between tracks at a passenger station. I wonder if they are still being made?

I already have a few of these. I was wondering if anyone else did since I haven’t seen them since shortly after I bought them. They are really cool sign structures.

Incredibly cool Brian. Never saw those before. My first York was 2005. Are they actually matchbook covers? What is on the opposite side? Inquiring minds and all that.

Pete
The description states actual matchbooks from the 20's through the 50's converted to tinplate.

A little pricey at $40 a pop.

Pete, I think they are reproductions and some are custom made. I'm not completely sure, it's been 20 years since I saw them for sale.

The first two pictures are each side of the same structure.

Bill, yes they were pricey, especially for 1999 prices! But they were very unique. If I remember correctly, he had different styles of fencing between signs, I kind of remember a spiked railing between the signs.
