IMO I doubt that you will see a steamer any time soon. 50 / 50 chance you will see another F unit for the Holidays.

I had not heard that from Mark the Menards guy, very interesting. Depending on the advertised price could possibly sell a Maersk boatload of em.Yes, Menards Guy said they are coming out with 6 road name Diesels this fall. Maybe as many as 9 road names.
Thanks for the info Mark. Since Menards is a big time Midwest company a Milwaukee, Minneapolis & St Louis or SOO line seems appropriate.Obviously, we want the next version to be nearly perfect. It may be 2023 when the next batch is complete. We will work on other liveries at that point. As always, road name suggestions are always welcomed!

After the last Beta tests I am thinking its back to the drawing board. I would think Beta Test #5 will be in the offering after the first of the year.Waiting for the day Menard's gives us a little glimpse behind the curtain...
I don't believe there was any issues with the Blue AT&SF power unit last issued, it was the unpowered unit that had the lighting issue blowing the fuse or whatever in the unpowered unit.Unpowered is easy, it's just like another piece of rolling stock. It's when you add power and electronics that the wheels start to fall off.![]()
Yep, they corrected the problem with the unpowered A unit. I received the Blue Bonnet with the new electronics and the on / off switch. Head light is very bright but I will keep it off when in use as a trailing A unit. Pretty darn good deal at $89. Maybe a set of Milwaukees are on the drawing board.@Millstonemike I ran the NON powered Beta 3 for 30 minutes with lightning on and NO issues,
Thanks for your guidance Mike.
@AMCDave if yours is the NON powered Beta 3 try flipping the switch on bottom, it worked with mine.
