My 1959 #44 Missle Launcher wires in the rear truck need to be redone, as one of them came off the pickup shoe. In close examination of the truck, when I remove it from the engine there is a metal piece covering the top of the truck, blocking getting a soldier gun in to the wires. Does this mean that the wheels need to come off? How does one do that?
I have had this engine since it was my Xmas present in 1959, so I do not want to mess it up.
Any ideas?
Has anyone had to do this repair before?
Please see photos.

It's part of living on the edge of the wilderness. The squirrels tear the lines apart and eventually they get replaced. Until then the service deteriorates.

I found some missile car pics.

You've got to upgrade from that dial-up Internet service. :p:p
Once we decided to upgrade but locally there were only two services provided. The upgrade from the commercial was no available for my community. Then our service provider has changed hands three times,

The only service that is squirrel trouble free is satellite. :)
