I recently bought some used Fleischmann turnout switches model 6900 . As I bought them online I had no idea how small they were. THey have a single hole in the center that is very small.

How are these supposed to be mounted?

Fleischmann panel
Apparently they can be incorporated as a part of this control panel system...
But you can just use them as they are.

Do those toggle switches provide an intermittent passing switch closure as you throw them?
Or maintain contact while you are holding it over to left or right?

I undestand what they do. They are momentary switches but hold the position so you can see where you last switched it.

I can not find screws small enough.

I like their appearance. But I was asking (for my own info) if these protect the solenoids by
providing intermittent closure as you throw them?
0-80 x 1 and/or 2-56 x 1 are available on ebay.

How big is the hole?
(What is the largest drill bit you can fit thru the hole?)
They could also be glued down with calk, glue, adhesive... the better you stick 'em, the harder they are to move later. 😅
