Found a MTH 759 on eBay . It only comes with proto Smoke, the days it can be upgraded with proto sound. It’s going for $130 new is it worth buying, or should I get get one new with proto sound 3?

A PS3 upgrade kit costs $200. If you can install it yourself (I can do my own installations) then you're into the locomotive $330. If you can't install the PS3 kit yourself figure close to $100 or more to have someone install it. Then you're at about $430 ($130 locomotive cost + PS3 kit + installation). A new PS3 version probably costs about $100 more.
