A bunch Spence. My inventory Excel spread sheets lists by manufacture and not by merchandise type. Total for buildings, locomotives, and rollingstock is over 2000 pieces.

Manfactures include, Lionel Prewar, Lionel Postwar, Lionel MPC, Lionel modern, MTH, Atlas, K-Line, Williams, Weaver, Kusan, AMT, KMT, RMT, RGS, ETS, Marx, Frank's Roundhouse, Right of Way, and Menards.

Yep, but it took over 60 years to get there.

Basic math guesstamations, approx 200 locos, approx 150 buildings and electrical accessories, leaves about 1,650 pieces of rolling stock, give or take a few each way.
