MW Transformer

Anyone here use a Lionel MW transformer to operate trains, picked up one cheap cheap 5 bucks, looks new. Woman said she purchased it for her son but don`t think he ever used it. I don`t know anything about an MW, but for 5 bucks i could not walk away from it. No user manual with it.

Here's a Link to the MW manual.

The MW's ratings are listed on it: 16 V 50 VA. Basically a 50 W transformer
