Nice train Lee. Looks really fantastic and I like the color.

I’ll be running streamliners from yesterday tomorrow…and also today.

I didn’t realize that you had sold your original set. If I’m not mistaken that was a shelf queen! Will this one be or are you going to run it?
That's an interesting thought. Hey Lee. Time for a new challenge. Build a 23 foot long shelf.

Lee, any chance you have a futureliner in your display to go with it!? Any idea if Harley Earl had any input into the design of the ToT?

Guys, thanks for the nice comments.
1) This will not be a shelf queen. I made the 3rd Rail ToT a shelf queen mostly because it was better at that than at being a runner: it was detailed and prototypically accurate and impressive to look at, but windows would fall out of one car if I handled it normally when putting it on the track, the 21" cars looked weird going around some of my curves, and the loco run smoothly but the TMCC jackrabbited a bit in conventional (all I run) the sound volume was very low and the smoke unit took ages to warm up and work. So it stayed on the shelf. This loco, by contrast, will run several times a year for a week or more . . .
2) I have two 12 foot shelves for it!!!
