WORKS FOR ME

Looks like O-Gauge Urban Sprawl has arrived on the O-Gauge model railroad scene.:D Looking very good though. Has anyone come up with a name for their particular O-Gauge Urban Development?

Nice group of buildings Spence. Several of us in our club have a number of them and they are a good value for what they offer. A few of us would have purchased more buildings(and vehicles) this weekend but it didn't quite work out.

3 of us went to the Mt Hope Train Show in Ohio last Sat. After the show we stopped at the Warther Museum in Dover Ohio. We then proceeded to the Menards in New Philadelphia, Ohio. From where we live, this Menards and the one in Warren, Ohio are the two closest stores, roughly 2-2 1/2 hours away. I had rebates to use and the other guys wanted to buy a number of buildings. We checked online before the trip and there was a good inventory of buildings. Once there however, we were disappointed. Over half of the O scale buildings were either damaged(some really bad) or didn't light correctly. The top shelf held the display models(and some of them weren't working) and the bottom shelves held the building stock. We ended up testing the buildings(that weren't physically damaged) we were interested in by plugging them into the display adapters to check the lighting. We did purchase a few buildings, but not the number we would have. We were told there was no extra stock but that new shipments arrived every day or so. We didn't look at the HO buildings(which were on the same shelves in that aisle). There were zero of the lighted vehicles or the scale vehicles. There were 1 of each roadname in about 12 boxcars and 1 each of some flatcars with Ford pickups.

Not bashing here, just a statement of facts on our experience. I did get to use my rebates on 1 building that I purchased:) Sorry for hijacking your thread Spence.
