In other words - I need something really really thin. Perhaps some "heavy EZ-Line"???
Perhaps some pinstripe tape from an auto parts store... Maybe use Goo Gone to remove the adhesive.

You might not need to show the ends….they will dangle down deep into the hose tower, and there are no windows to be able to see the ends…
True, even though I still might put in some "openings" down the height of the tower. Maybe let one hang half way down where the end could be seen - just for fun and a little guy up top trying to untangle it ??

Grief, this was supposed to be a 5 minute job to give me something to do .......... it has evolved into an adventure :)

So here is what I have come up with in the interim - some light gold colored cotton thread that I wound together (two strands) then coated with elmers white glue to stiffen it all. Despite the color depicted in the photo, it really is a canvas color:

Now all I need to do is figure out how to attach each length to the cross bars in the tower top. Actually, attaching them is easy - CA Glue - holding them in place till it dries is the hard part

Not sure if I mentioned this or not, but when I started this "5 minute project" I ordered some Ladders that came with Safety Cages to go inside the tower. They arrived today and here they are cut to length with the cage formed to be fitted to the ladder and it all to be placed inside the tower - hopefully. Hmm, wouldn't it be a buggar if it didn't fit

Well, I did a second opening and screwed up monumentally ... I don't know why BUT I cut it way too big than I intended. Instead of being 1/2" X 1/4" it ended up !/2" X 5/16" or a little more. Either way, it is obviously larger than the first despite not being on the same wall.

Well, this was just a "mock up" for the real one so I guess I can't complain too much. Now I'll be able to cut the doors and windows in before I assemble it all. In other words, do it properly :)
