Thankyou Gents for your replies ..they are very helpful.

@ Ernest ,,.. I quick grabbed one of the tracks from a box for the quick photo and that happened to be the bad one :eek:hwell: ....I will post better ones soon.

So Postwar meaning right after WW2 ? ..or was this a 1950s production ?
With this being an O-27 Gauge ..I would assume the correct forum to post the rest of the trains would be in O.
More to come ..Thanks again .

I still have some of the rubber cows that go inside the cattlecar.
I have a Milk car with little metal containers coming up also.

Yes, O-Scale is a good forum. But there's other on Topics like "Beginner", building a Layout etc that are useful for all scales.

The reliability of your trains is affected by the conductivity of your track more than you may realize. The quality of the pins and their connection also matters. I abandoned my tubular track and bought new tubular track a few years ago and the difference was noticable. Everything ran better. YMMV.

After getting tired of the noise, I recently switched to Atlas O. Big difference. But for a set that gets taken apart and set up frequently, there's other options. Lots of posts about that.
