Greetings all,

I’m reaching out for help from some of of you long time layout sleuths because my laptop went belly up and I lost all my layout pics.

I’m still searching for one lost layout from years ago and the problem I’m having is for the life of me I can’t remember the name.

If memory serves... it was a HO 4’x8’ demonstration module from back in the 90’s, possibly done for an article in one of the magazines because one of the pictures had an illustrated track plan.

It had a simple loop for basic operation with a few sidings.

Setting was reminiscent of the PNW or British Columbia in the 20’s or 30’s. It had raised mountain portion in the center with a focal point that was a small harbor inlet in the center of the layout with nice rock work meeting the water Otherwise there were a few wooden trestles and a handful of wooden structures.

Can’t remember the builder’s name but I think he was relatively well known in the hobby.

The layout name was along the lines of:

The Yorktown and Broomshire RR. Or The Yorkshire & Broomtown RR

There was definitely a “Broom” in the name.

Many thanks in advance for any help that I can get.
