I’ve bought this train at a car boot sale as I just feel in love with it instantly even though I know nothing about model trains. Was just wondering if anyone knows its value, or anything about it? Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Welcome.

Car boot sale?
Never heard of that before?

What do you plan on doing with the Locomotive?

Sounds like he's in the UK or thereabouts. :D
Yep, just googled it, I never heard the term before.
Car boot sales or boot fairs are a form of market in which private individuals come together to sell household and garden goods.

The Union Jack next to this screen name is a dead giveaway, even if the language weren't.

A boot is what we Yanks call the trunk. The other end is the bonnet.

Kmac88, I was a bit confused as to your term "boot sale" then I looked at the Union Jack flag by the your screen name and it dawned on me you are British. The term "boot' is a car trunk to us Yanks. Even that is a little strange since all know about are swap meets or garage sales. In any case, that locomotive you have there is a live steam locomotive. I don't know if it is all there though. My suggestion is to check with live steam train operators.
