Hi my name is Mark aka Retro. I had HO scale as a kid and now want to return to the rails. This time I would like a Z scale. Are they even popular now? I live in a small house by a bay And can hear the trains , and would love to tinker on a suitcase set up. I would like a quality set. I just don’t see enough online in this scale. Is this a dying breed. Any advice?

German. Check out Modellbahnshopp-Lippe for Z scale. They have what you need in Z scale. If you are planning on American outline though, you won't find much in this scale. It's mostly German and Austrian.
