I've been enjoying random HO collecting and modest track set-ups since the eighties, now retired, getting more into it again, learning a lot already!

Welcome to the forum! You mentioned "Track set ups." that sounds like they may have been temporary affairs? Do you have a more permanent layout now, or are you planning to build one? If so, how much space do you have available?

The files attached below are some I've written to help new modelers build their first layout. I realize you're not really "new", in the normal sense, and you have built those "track set ups" in the past. Still, you might want to browse through them and see if there is any information you can use.
