Sense the whole TYCO thread has gotten us to think about how much we like the old stuff. Here is a Western Maryland flat car, that I think all of us have.

I work for CocaCola, and we use a thermal printer. Well, I go thru about 4 rolls of paper a week. So, I thought the plastic spool inside might work for something some day, so I saved a few over the last month.

I sanded the spools and painted them with Floquil aged concrete. Then simply E6000'd them to the flat car. Added some Proto ribbed back metal wheels, and EZ-Mate couplers, and viola, very nice flat car for under $5 at most shows. LMK what you think ;)
Kevin

PS- if anyone is interested in some, LMK, there are 30 of us at the plant that use these. Could collect a ton in notime.

I am looking for several of these Tyco Western Maryland flat cars. Not worried about couplers or wheels, just the car without broken steps and the trucks.

LMK if you might have some you dont want anymore...

Hey GL, are you only interested in that roadname?
Truthfully, kind of Yes. I am doing the Clinchfield RR for my prototype, and just want a runthru of these with a couple covered N&W hoppers. Kind of the look I am going for. But, what do you have? we can talk, lol.
