Hello everyone,

My question is about track. I know Marklin is probably the best track but doesn't work with engine from Kato or Proto2000. So, what is the best track and mobile station for a layout with 3 engines.

Thank you

Welcome to the forum...

Essentially, what you've just done is on the level of walking into a NASCAR forum and asking, "Which one's best...Ford...Chevy...Pontiac?"

I'll toss my preference in...then run for cover:D:D:D I use Atlas Code 100 nickle silver flex track and accessories because it tracks most brands and ages of rolling stock very well. Many European companies use flanges that are much too deep for scale track. My Marklin runs on M track, the kind that looks like Lionel O-27.

Hey Linebaker... I'm working in the eastern Township... Bromont !:) So... Hi neighbor !! And welcome to the forum.

Sincerely, I'm using a lot of different tracks on the same layout... and I'm not sure I can see any difference between them !! They are all brass except the bendable one that are nickel plated.

Best overall look (for me) : Garnet Ps... not even sure they exist anymore !! They were made in Austria and are very well detailed plus, they seems to stay a little more clean than others.

Second best : Atlas... obvious.

What I have most: Bachmann... they are quite cheap but tend to get dirty a lot more than the 2 previous.

And at last... because I can rate them yet, (layout in process... not done yet) the bendable one. They are Atlas superFlex code 100 (like my friend Shay) even if it's stamp "Model Power" on the yellow box that contain 5 tracks.

Now, I don't have DCC equipment yet so... not sure if they will hold 3 engines but I'm pretty sure they can... if not, I'm missing something something in the DCC KNOWLEDGE department.:eek:hwell::smilie_auslachen:
