Not worth a whole lot if all the gears haven't been changed to the metal ones.
The OE gears are prone to breaking and are difficult to replace "if" you can find the parts.
Whats your bottom line?

Certainty worth more than ten dollars but no wear near 500 dollars.
I agree they are a beautiful model but they have problems.
If the truck and drive gears are not metal or been replaced with metal parts, they are doomed to fail. The truck and gear box gears split and then slip on the shafts and thats not good, it's also expensive to repair
The only replacements I know of are from NWSL for the trucks and I dont think anyone makes replacements for the gear box . This is a common problem with these and the climax so I would be very surprised if you find anyone who would trade for a brass shay or climax.
The last two I've bought were under 150.00 in like new condition but then I had to source and buy parts and do a very difficult repair.
