I started putting my track together today to make sure everything works before I have to set it up for my son on Christmas day. Thank god I decided to be an adult finally! I currently can't get my engine to light up when placed on the track and powered up. Do the engines light up right away when power is turned on to the track? If so, I'm assuming my engine isn't getting power and should check with multi meter?

I have a 180W powerhouse connected to a Legacy Powermaster which is then connected to the track.

I noticed in the powerhouse directions that its recommended to have legacy controller version 1.6 or newer or you may run into electrical issues. Looking at my controller, I have the 1.0 version :eek:hwell:. Would this be a reason why this may not be working correctly?

Ok, So I got the chance to command the loco. The number dash light comes on, but that is all. Anything I do after that doesn't have an effect on it. What would my next steps be?

Edit: Looks like I've got it running. Seems like there are a few "bugs" I'll have to find out whats going on, but I had it running with sound for now.
