Very good looking locomotive. Is that a new pain scheme or an old one? All I see around here are black NS locomotives. They are usually upright, but occasionally on their sides.

MichaelE, that is one of the new paint schemes on rebuilt Dash 9's that are being converted from DC to AC. There are 4 colors being used depending on the NS shop doing the rebuild. Red, Black, Blue, and Yellow. The Catepillar Shop is doing the Yellow nose.

Tom, that is the MTH truck / EOT that replaces the original truck. The EOT light has 3 sequences, no light, bright light, and very bright light.

Interesting. I have a Lionel Gunderson well car (stack train) with an EOT that functions. I haven’t tried to power it up yet.

The modern equivalent of a caboose!
