Just wanted to let some of you die-cast car guys know that the current issue of OST has a pretty in depth article about cars from the 1950's, including production numbers, regional sales, and body style types by popularity.

I'm not a die-cast car guy, but it seems like some very useful information for a prototypical 1950's-era layout.

Its a good article. I did a lot of research on a l that a couple of years ago and it all agrees with what I determined.

Still, even if you are like me and love accuracy and realism, yup probably do what I do: a few too many upscale models, more convertibles and sports cars than were typically seen on the street, etc.
