Picked up a box of stuff

Well it's not like I didn't have enough to do..... I was getting everything in order to set up the Lionel set when I thought I would see what I could find for sale...so I found an add that had advertised Lionel/American Flyer stuff for sale.

The stuff has been sitting around for some time and needs some TLC. There were a few Lionel cars 6112,6025 a bunch of track and there was a pre-war American Flyer Locomotive 561 along with a few cars, it appears most came together in the 4109 set. The locomotive body is in pretty good shape (it amazing the detail those locos have) and it runs.

However I need a few parts and I tried to find something with a parts list but couldn't find anything. Does anyone on the Forum have a parts list for American Flyer? The Engine is the 561.

Thanks Reckers, what I am looking for is a part list so I can order some parts for the 561 steam engine.

If I can offer a suggestion, I would start with the "Contact us" part of Portline's site and email Doug Peck. Tell him you have a 561 K5 and need a parts list to order some stuff. I don't see one on his site, but my guess is he has one he can email to you.
