I dont have much room for a huge layout but i used what i have.

Room is always an issue. I am thinking of a temporary expansion to stretch out some track. So far it's a dream but so was my S scale loop.
Thanks for posting it's always interesting to see what others do. 4 by 8 is a tough assignment and yours looks great.

im stuck to a 4x7 with ho scale, but you have o scale and on a very small board!

Nice layout for a 4x8. I like your turnout / spurs, and the neck-down inner loop.

Is that a Lionel Jr. whistle station or transformer station in the left foreground? I recently fixed up a station shell, but I have no guts for it yet. Some station end-panels have a vertial slot, and some have a curved/arched slot, and I'm not sure which is for which ??? Or for different types of transformer control arms ??? Any clues?

yes i use 1 for all the yard lines and power switches and i use half of the other for 2 other lines

I am make a smilar sized layout for a chirstmas display this year. You have some corner that are on the edge of your plywood. Have you done any precausion to pervent trains from falling on floor. I only asked because I caught mine the other day as it fell off (going to fast).

i dont run my stuff overly fast i run at the realistic speed. but i also built this layout so i can build around it later
