Well, I saw a good price on Pittman motors, so I ordered five of them.

The box seemed pretty large, and really heavy for five small motors.

I guess the lot size was five, because when the box arrived there were a few more in there! :eek:

Yep, that's 14 pounds of Pittman motors!

I actually ordered 5 and got 25, apparently they were lots of 5! I went to their website and found a lot of 20 for $89.95, so I guess I just mis-read.

I took out my tach and measured full speed, around 8,000 RPM.

I regularly get steam upgrades from Weaver and Williams with crappy motors, now some of them can have a nice upgraded motor. :)

I managed to get a couple of those units this last year. What I need now are good trailing trucks with center rail pick-up. If you have a contact for such items and could share please let me know.
