I'm going through helping the better half with spring housecleaning. There is a closet just outside in the hall very close to the old train room. We are moving and everything must be packed up, given away, or thrown out.

Anyway doing my husbandly duty.... Cleaning the closet. What do I find? Four boxes of train engines, cars, and kits!! This is amazing, I didn't even miss them!!! I remembered them ONLY after finding them. One box is nothing but coal cars. Another is all engines, mostly engines in need of Kadee couplers or assembly. I bought all of these at various train shows and just put them away with the intentions of working on them later.

And train cars!!! Boxcars, gondolas, flatcars, tankers, passenger cars!!!!! Walthers is getting ready to receive an order for Kadee couplers that will, most likely, set a one time sales record for Kadee couplers!

I guess I'm going to have to log all of them to make sure I have no duplicate numbers or cars. There must be at least 200 cars and 40 more engines. Most of the engines are Proto 2000 and 1000 ,Red Box Rivarossi's Genesis, or Spectrums, good stuff,. Many F's and E's as well as some older Geeps and SD's. I even found two Centennials!! Also "found" about (10) steamers. Damn, like Christmas in March!!!

Gotta go log these trains into my registry. WOW!!! This might take a while. The better half just ordered pizza and went to get a 12-pack. I guess she's going to help. I'd better take advantage of her generosity, eh?

Finding trains is the only more exciting thing than running them. (Just talking hobby wise.LOL )It must be a big closet.Yard sales and Flea markets are my hunting grounds. The season is a coming.!
My Ho collection has been is storage for years and this forum is constantly testing my knowledge. So far the Centennial cars,Tyco engines, the Rivarossi. It's amazing to think about what little I have applies so much. I see a post and run up to the attic to find a car. Take a picture and post. It's been fun.

It was a large walk in closet. Going to the attic later this afternoon. Wouldn't it be something to find more trains up there. I doubt that there are any though. I don't recall ever taking any up there. But, I'm getting old and the mind more feeble.....
