Hey there. This used to be my grandfather's and just discovered in in a box full of mostly dust. I did a quick search on Google and couldn't find anything about it. Would any of you be able to tell me anything about it or what it may be worth in your community? I'm assuming it's junk since it has an original price of $2, but it's new in box, never opened with plastic wrap still on it, if that helps. Thanks in advance

Very little in this hobby appreciates in value over time. Styrene model kits never do. It's not junk -- it's a serviceable model, and the price reflects inflation rather than quality. You might get a few bucks for it on eBay.

I'd add that Pola kits were sold under a variety of brands here in the states. There's a good chance that kit is still in production.

If you decide to sell and can find the current packaged version you might have some guide as to what price to discount from.
