I would like to ask for your help. LEGO Ideas is a website that permits the public to submit ideas for future LEGO products. If a project earns 10,000 votes, LEGO will consider making it into a set.
LEGO is not a typical medium for model railroading, and of course LEGO is out to make toys. But I ask - why can't a LEGO set be an accurate model and a toy? My 4-6-0 "Ten Wheeler" is, I believe, just that. It's a motorizable, track ready train that looks as good standing still as it does in motion. I have run this model at over a dozen public displays with my LEGO Train Club, and it's always been a solid performer.
