the aeroplane motor has arrived. a crude experiment but it works. this produces an incredible amount of thrust, by reversing the polarity it becomes a tractor motor instead of a pusher. just beginning the test. this is running on track power using a lionel 1033 transformer and a full wave bridge rectifier...

Nice project and fine video/narration. Be interested to know what happens with reversing polarity.
