Hey tank... maybe actually putting something up for sale should be a minimum requirement for starting a thread in the for sale trade or auction section.

Seems to me that's the least a person could do... ;)

Out of courtesy, I think that one should offer to sell to the forum members first, then list on eBay.................Especially, if they wish to "advertise" on the site........just my nickel's worth. Two cents doesn't buy much any more....Damned inflation, dont'cha know.

How to make a thread in the For Sale forums.

Simple, click "New Thread" on the left side of the screen. Its a blue button with an ink bottle on it.

Thatll bring you to a screen similar to the screen you get when you post a reply to a topic.

Call your thread something along the lines of "Kevins Blowout trains for sale!"

Type up a list of whats for sale, condition, and asking price.

A paragraph at the top of the page is nice when it lets people know what form of payment is accepted, your zip code for shipping quotes, and anything else you feel is important to let people know.

Pictures, i dont mind looking through a photobucket of flickr album, although when posted directly in the thread its much easier.

Hope i didnt forget anything, good luck with your sale!

A link to your ebay store where the trains are listed would help alot if you dont decide to sell here.
