I was given a paragon 2 SW7. It ran well for the minute I tried it. I put it away and a few months later brought it out to run. It reacts to commands like horn and bell, and the engine sound revs up, but the unit will not move. I don't hear the motor turning or trying too. I am using Digitrax, btw. I reset to factory settings, same thing. Before I dismantle is it possible there is any cv I could try changing? Is there a "brake" cv?
Thanks for any help, Gary

How long was it in storage between your initial test and bringing it back out? And how was it stored? Sometimes, the lubricants harden up in storage, or it gets really dusty and needs a good cleaning.

You might be able to get it moving by bumping up the "Startting Voltage " CV.

It is probably in demo mode. That only lets the light and sound features to play while the loco sets still. I think your model has the QSI decoder. Reference your manual on how to toggle that.
