My mother found this at an estate sale and gave it to me 7 or 8 years ago. Also a test to see if I can post pictures on new format.
I think I need to sand it down and paint it.

Artists are amazing! Who looks at railroad spikes and sees a bird? Same type of person who looks at a block of marble and creates a horse by removing everything that doesn't look like a horse!! My eyes don't allow that!

Cool, I love yard art.
Years ago while fishing off Sandy Hook NJ I caught an 6' piece of driftwood.
It gave me a good hell of a fight while pulling it through the rip currents! I thought I had a big one. :)
It was a long and round branch of a tree. It must have been floating around for years.
It had all kinds of fishing line on it and tangled in on it was sinkers, hooks and bobbers.
Along with mussels, starfish and little crabs.
I took it home and dried it out and then made a sea snake out of it with my dremal tool.
I painted it and laid it in one of my flower beds, it must have looked pretty real as none of the critters ate anything out of that garden bed.
It is in my shed now and it is raining, if I remember I will shoot a picture of it and post it here.
