Many, many years ago I started accumulating those brands of electric trains. Having spent some time in the Yakima Valley I was always on the hunt for the Apples from Yakima Valley reefers by KMT. Over the past 30 or 40 years I have been able to get my hands on about a dozen of those guys in 4 variations.

PW Trains, a few years ago I was scrounging around the BNSF yard south of Seattle and ran into this guy. He had a string of boxcars so I guess he had come up from Fort Lewis.

Bill,

I like the US Army paint scheme. Mine are MTH Railking GP-9’s.

The US Army train runs close by my home in Leland, NC where they bring munitions to the Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point.

“The Military Ocean Terminal at Sunny Point, N.C., the largest ammunition port in the nation, and the Army's primary east coast deep-water port. Military Ocean Terminal (MOT), Sunny Point, North Carolina, is the Department of Defense's key Atlantic Coast ammunition shipping point.”
