Well by the looks of it, they chose a boxcar and painted it to a company that uses Reefers. I guess they figured no one would notice. Or possibly a misprint on the description. Little details like this get to me as well. I only have two reefers in my whole collection, one being a SPFE. And the other PFE And I have one older car that is a single Plug door boxcar with hatches on top.

I've got to agree with BC RAIL. I see no refridgeration unit or icing hatches. I also think A.R.T. Co. predates that style car, but I could be wrong.

I aint a bet'n man, but that looks to the best of my knowledge a plug-door boxcar.
I would as say, that T-Man might be right though?? As, how that in the late '30's there was a change in the way "reefers" were done. It might be a "dry-ice" model. But if it was a Undec unit, how would you know????
Just my 2cents worth
