Hi ,

I have an Lionel track PT NO. 6019. The wireing is shot. What
size wire should I use to repair it?

Thank you, Joe

18 or 20 gage strand wire. If you go for long leads stay with a heavier gage wire (lower number). The three or four joined wire can be bought at Hooby shops.
This is where the little black transformer, the 1015 is perfect. With two wires and alligator clips you are in buisness. Just clip to the center and an outer rail; with the controlller tied into the track and test with power on the throttle. See if it picks up a nail.
