This is a Taurus 1116 built by Siemens and is operated mainly by ÖBB in Austria, though several other European countries use this locomotive as well.

The 60th anniversary of Roco paint scheme is also painted on the prototype. Roco does not produce fantasy paint schemes. All are applied to the real locomotive before the model is released.

The prototype can be seen here: ÖBB Taurus 1116 scroll down slightly to the slide show.

This is the model. It is a little busy for my taste and I don't know if I will purchase this upon release or not. It would be useful in front of my ÖBB consist currently being handled by ÖBB 1014. I like special paint on locomotives, but not all of them.

Yes. As I said, Roco doesn't do fantasy paint schemes.

Not sure if it's a wrap on the actual locomotive, but knowing the Germans, it's probably meticulously applied paint.
