We are currently seeking fellow model railroaders to join our Gold Coast Miniature Railroad Club here in Miami Florida during our 2009 Fall Membership Drive. We have made some progress and will be designing, as a group, a "NEW" Digital Command & Control HO scale layout to allow our members to run their own locomotives and equipment, have regular operating sessions and share our skills & knowledge with others.
Please let us know what scale you currently model or would like to model? What are your specialties and interests (scenery, maintaining engines & rolling stock, track, wiring, etc.)
The Gold Coast Railroad Museum / Miniature Railroad Club houses quite an array of model railroads in many scales. Currently represented are N, HO, O27, and G scales. The collections and equipment on display have all been donated or loaned to the Museum to be displayed and operated for the public's enjoyment in an air-conditioned exhibit building.
We also offer 1:1 scale train operations with proper training and certification. Reply by email to [email protected] if you would like more information about joining our group.
